Turning 65 is a big milestone!
Turning 65 is a big milestone! Besides celebrating your birthday, you also now have some choices to make in regards to your Social Security and your Medicare (health insurance) coverage.
You only have 1 IEP (Initial Election Period) it is best to get yourself educated 3 to 6 months before your 65th birthday to make sure you aren't penalized for not getting Medicare soon enough.
